2026 MACTE Fall Conference
October 15th & 16th, 2026 - Columbia, MO
MACTE is moving its in-person conference to the fall. This October, we'll gather at the Hilton Garden Inn Conference Center in Columbia, MO. The Call for Proposals is open, and we're looking forward to a strong lineup of sessions this year.
The full agenda will be posted in September — check back here for updates. Registration opens in August; the link below will go live at that time.
Help shape this year's meeting tracks. If you have a question, a pain point, or a topic you'd like addressed in one of our sessions, we want to hear it — whether it's a policy issue or a best-practice discussion.

New to the Fall MACTE conference: Blind Date with a Book Exchange
Celebrate the joy of reading and collegial connection by participating in our Blind Date with a Book exchange!
How it works:
· Bring one gently used book you’ve enjoyed and would recommend
· Wrap the book to keep it a surprise
· Optional: include a short note about why the book is meaningful to you and your contact information
What kinds of books?
Any genre is welcome—fiction, nonfiction, professional development, anything goes!
At the MACTE conference…
Drop off your wrapped book in the lobby, browse the collection, and select one to take home.
You won’t know what you’ve chosen until you unwrap it!
Discover new reads, share meaningful books, and connect with fellow MACTE colleagues.
Updated Conference Pricing:
To make the conference more accessible, we've replaced the banquet dinner with a hosted hors d'oeuvres and social hour, open to all attendees. It's a chance to unwind at the end of Day One and connect informally with colleagues. The keynote presentation is also open to everyone, regardless of which day(s) you're registered for.
Conference Options:
Full Conference: $300.00
Day One Only: $250.00
Day Two Only: $200.00
Registrations can be transferred once to a colleague at the same institution if you're unable to attend.
